Spaulding and I have a gluten free club.

But anyways, I like the new and more outspoken Camps Von Spmack. Keep up the good work.

I have posted on this place more in the past yr more than I posted in the previous six. I don't know why maybe I have very little going. I generally enjoy the debate that occurs on here but the absence of guys that first attracted me to the site is troubling. I don't know why and everyone has their reason for joining and hence their reason for leaving but the trend towards leaving is something that may be here to stay.

The problem I have is with those that fashion themselves as some sort of message board royalty. You're not. You post on a message board. There is one person that assumes responsibility for the operation of the board. That's it. This place used to strike me as the kind of place where guys could argue passionately about sports and then have a beer at the end of the day. It doesn't appear to be that way anymore. There are some guys that generally don't like each other. There are other guys that are constantly trying to regulate the thoughts of others. They are not so much debating as they are hoping to shape discussion. Out of this comes the incessant call to ban certain posters primarily because they have a problem with them or what they are saying. It makes for a less interesting board when this becomes the norm. Some of the people that have posted with less frequency and or been banned were truly passionate about this place, for whatever reason they may have for being such, and their absence is noteworthy.

Meeting other posters was the first thing that changed the board. You could no longer say something mean about a poster because you met and liked the person behind the moniker. The board will likely survive this phase too.

Most of my sports guys are gone but I'm still here. Spinning Buckets and myself used to debate sports for hours. I was always right too.

I disagree with you about most of your sports thoughts but you are a guy that is obviously a passionate sports fan. That makes you an asset as opposed to a liability, for this message board. This board needs more guys like you in my opinion.

Why should he feel terrible about referring to me as a preeminent basketball mind? I'm a guy that has thoughts and opinions, as you well know.

Everyone?

Somewhere in the south suburbs, a chubby bass player just fell off his inflatable raft and sits at the bottom of his above-ground pool upon reading that spmack no longer considers him to a part of CSFMB's "everyone."
