Hopefully they don't piss this one away now.

With 4 outs to go, this is looking like another bad weekend series loss for them. This series combined with the 2 Brewer weekend series they lost aren't good. Have no idea why Herrera is playing, and why Baxter keeps getting pinch hit at bats. Those 2 are automatic outs.

It was a very dramatic and competitive series. Disappointed they couldn't get more than 3 runs today, when the D-Backs pitcher entered the game with an ERA over 5.

To Schmitty's points about Herrera and Baxter.....they only have roster spots because LaStella and Denorfia are injured. Before long Baez may take one of those spots. But I agree, they are weak links right now.

I'm not president of the Chris Coghlan fan club but anybody know why Junior Lake pinch hit for him in the 7th? The guy hit a 2-run shot a half hour earlier. Maybe he banged his shoulder on that Inciarte liner.
