I have some interest in this. Looks like decent summer fare. I read Helter Skelter in high school and based on that, have always been interested in that
time period in our country as well as the whole Manson Family thing. Thanks for the reminder, I'll set the DVR later today.

The show in 2 hours showed a girl blowing a guy,a young girl having sex with Manson and his women,a businessman who gets his throat cut while Manson tries to screw him in the ass in a garage lot,a store owner who get's his eyes cut out by Manson,same businessman ends the show by kissing Manson passionately while his missing daughter is about to open the bedroom door. It's a sick,shocking ride. I don't know how NBC can show this crap but than again,CBS televises Criminal Minds which highlights women being tortured on a weekly basis.

it is a really bizarre show. its tone is all over the place. i don't remember reading that manson was bi, but he was about controlling people so in order to control that guy, he knew he was gay so i guess that's the route he went. duchovny's appealing but his family life is odd. i think it's kind of trying to show how out of whack the 60's was but it had me wanting to change the channel and kept me interested almost simultaneously. i guess i'll stick with it though, because it is strangely watchable. but it's more like fun bad than anything else.
