You ok with that even though he had a MRI this week on his elbow?

For Dan Vogelbach straight up.

Cueto signs a 10 year extension for $5M a year.

MRI didn't show a tear, and he might start on Sunday.

I wouldn't trade Vogelbach for Cueto. I might be convinced to trade Lake.

Remember, these are Cubs prospects we're talking about. The cream of the crop. Teams should be honored to have the chance to acquire one.

Oh Lord...

I might trade Schwarber for him. But I'd have to think about it.

Boom...see what happens when you have to play against a league with real teams?

Meh, all the games were close. They at least have the competency to not get their ass handed to them by last place teams. It's a nice step forward compared to previous years.

Kirkwood your ability to bob and weave is duly noted.

Royals figured they would leave Kendrys Morales back in KC this weekend just to keep things fair

no bobbing and weaving. cubs are fun but unfinished this year. they'll have flashes and brilliance and idiocy.

a lot of players are learning for the 1st time what it takes to win in the majors this year.

I guess the goal should be lowered to getting to the World Series because the Cubs won't win one as long as the American League decides to send a representative.

Sox will have a better record than the Cubs by the end of the Cup!

The Cub strategy must be to wear Volquez down with all these strikeouts in order to get to the vulnerable KC bullpen.

Kansas City's bullpen has been able to pick on the light hitting AL Central. Where team leading "sluggers" like Jose Abreu have an .800 OPS.

NL Central will tear them up.

I guess you fail to remember that the NL won the world series last year.

I defended Fowler earlier in the season but I have seen the light. He blows. CF upgrade badly needed. Poor defense. Not a good lead off guy either.
