Season series: Cubs swept three games at Wrigley Field in June 2009.

Monday: 7:05 p.m., WPWR-50.
RH Trevor Bauer (5-3, 3.53) vs. RH Jake Arrieta (6-4, 3.16).

Tuesday: 7:05 p.m., CSN Plus.
RH Shaun Marcum (3-1, 4.09) vs. LH Tsuyoshi Wada (0-1, 4.84).

Cubs are overly excited about grabbing two walk offs vs Reds. Reality check arrives and get swept.

Marcum back from the dead....wow. I liked him before he went to the Brewers and was hurt/ bad for a few years. I look forward to Arrieta starting tonight (weather permitting) and following Lester's fine outing, with an even better one of his own. Wada needs a good outing, or he may be dropped from the rotation before long, so I expect him to do better than he had in his last couple starts. 6 innings and 3 or fewer runs is what I would like from him. That should be enough to keep the team in a position to win. Wrigleyville would be a great place to be tonight.....watch the Cubs, with Hawks highlights and updates between innings and hopefully celebrate in Wrigleyville afterwards with a Cubs win and a Stanley Cup Championship! Too bad the weather sucks, or that's how I would have played tonight.

Wednesday: 6:10 p.m., CSN.
LH Tsuyoshi Wada (0-1, 4.84) vs. RH Danny Salazar (6-2, 3.54).

Thursday: 6:10 p.m., CSN.
RH Jason Hammel (5-2, 2.81) vs. RH Carlos Carrasco (8-5, 4.38).

Wada stinks. Tribe sweep.

This Schwarber kid is pretty okay.

I think we may have won that draft.

schwarber's triple was a clear error. very nice of the score keeper

however, the other 3 hits were legit.

A lot of hits are given when the ball is smoked and that was smoked!

I agree on Schwarber's first "hit"....First Baseman should have made the play. His last hit was a little "nubber" off the end of the bat to left side of infield when the shift was on. That said....this kid has the look of a hitter. My "eye test" during his 6 career at-bats....I like what I see. He has an intimidating look.

So yes....HOF career for sure !!

Schwarber is out there looking like a young Jon Kruk while running the bases.

Cue the testicular comedy bits!

Kyle Schwarber has scored 5 runs in his first 8 at bats.
The White Sox have 3 runs in their last 4+ games.

David Ross just struck out as a pinch hitter with 2 men on and only 1 out. Hey, better than hitting into a double play. He sucks, but he could've sucked much worse. Moral victory!

Ross and Baxter back to back are quite the formidable duo to run up there in the late innings with the game on the line.
