But if he did get suspended Mitch still fucked up. He needs to publicly announce that Bernstein got suspended so all of the young girls and moms of Chicago knows that The SCORE cares. And people like me, of course - evolved people. We also need to know that THE SCORE cares. Bernstein needs to be publicly shamed.

Mitch finally had to react. I don't know how many women work there besides the new update girl. How many they have in sales and promotions. But Mitch couldn't look them in the eye if he didn't react on the second sexist tweet. Nor the evolved guys over there like me.

That's what I think should happen. But I'm saying Mitch isn't doing it that way. I'm saying he is suspended and Mitch just doesn't want to tell people. He just wants Bernstein to get the message.

For the first time in Bernstein's 15 years as host, Mitch finally got the balls to check him (I know Mitch wasn't there for all 15, but he's been the boss since Bernstein took over the station and began his reign of terror 7 or 8 years ago). Mitch only suspended him because he put his finger in the air, though. He wouldn't have done it without the public outrage. He knew he fucked up by doing nothing last time. Thought it would just go away. It didn't. His ideal work week is never having to talk to any of his on air staff.

He's not suspended.

I'm sure Mitch got calls from the Comcast execs after the boob thing. I'm sure ABC 7 called Mitch after this one. Mitch and the station are losing relationships with other media outlets and the teams themselves. Sponsors, too. In the words of Bernstein, "That's bad business, businesses are in the business of making money."
