But we don't live in Europe, and in the case you are using as a basis, Bernstein went after Sharpe far harder than he went after Cheryl Scott. And no one painted Scott as a home wrecker either.

And yes, i would have a responsibility to respect a social contract, (marriage) whether or not it is mine or someone else. And btw, the law does allow for penalties against those who ignore a marriage contract.
