First of all, if you haven't heard of it...this is the trailer (also produced by Eli Roth):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNtZu-3di38

This movie is truly fucking disturbed. I guess in a way I commend it for going balls to the wall and actually having sequences where kids are being stalked by this clown demon. But it also, in a way, goes a little too far with it. At first it seems like it's all done in good taste, but I can't figure out what it all is supposed to mean in the end. I know it'd be MiTC's favorite movie of all time, so I'd recommend it to him. and I suppose it's going to frighten the hell out of anyone who is scared of clowns. Even though "It" had scenes of a clown demon attacking children, too, this one seems to revel in it a little too much. I'm all for depraved and disturbing horror films, but usually the film has something to say about their depravity. This seems like it's just...sadistic. There are some suspenseful scenes in its climax, and some of the imagery and cloyne history is truly creepy and chilling. But then it crosses that line I think and it doesn't have much else going for it.

Not that this'll be released so...i don't know...it might end up on Netflix.

:D :D out of :D :D :D :D

As a longtime coulrophobic, I don't even like reading about movies involving clowns.

So they made that one episode of aqua teen hunger force into a movie.

I remember seeing the trailer last year. It's definitely something I would watch. Hey Zack, have you seen The Green Inferno?

 Horror is my least favorite genre but that looks interesting. IT is still one of the creepier movies to me.

If you wan to see the clown on the other end of things, check out "Vulgar."

And to balance things out, anyone who enjoys comedy should definitely see "Klown." It's a Danish film and it's hilarious. I don't know if it's still available on Netflix, but if you ever come across it, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

thinking more about it, the movie works a little better if it is seen as an allegory about pedophilia. i still think it loses some of the credit toward that notion by showing as much blood and body parts and bones as it does, but it does make me feel a little better about the movie itself.

Somebody likes his work. Jon Watts (the director) just got the directing gig for the new Spider-Man flick.
