I guess it's just me.

There is no way I would have taken either of our kids when they were a baby to a baseball game. We went to our 1st game 2 years ago when our kids were 9 and 6. I guess going to a Cubs game isn't that important to me.

You guys are something. You know nothing about them or anything at all, but yet you judge them by one moment in their lives.

Darkside and Walt are dead on here.

Worry about your own lives instead of getting upset at a family going to a baseball game.

I know they will make me hear their baby cry and yellow lab smell on my Lincoln Park sidewalk cafe bagel and coffee stop.

Personally, I wouldn't bring a baby to the front row, where foul balls are screaming at you. That's just me. I am much more bothered by that idiot reaching into the field of play, and interfering with live action.

I have no issue with people who bring an infant to a game, as long as they properly parent. But if they sit there watching the game as their kid cries and fusses because he/she is hungry, tired, bored, etc...then there is a problem. Ruining the experience for a bunch of people around you, because you are too selfish to parent properly is not okay. Obviously, the parents should be careful to shield a child from a foul ball, but if they are paying attention to the game, rather than checking emails, texting and posting on Facebook, that shouldn't be a problem.

Other than their sitter fucked them at last minute it is just dumb. Go with your wife or partner and enjoy the game and leave a less than 2 year old home. He probably named his kid Clark or Addison because his yellow lab was already named Wrigley.

Once again lots of people worrying about others rather than themselves. This is much to do about nothing.

I am not worried really at all. Take the kid if you like. Myself, I probably would have ducked/crouched shielding the kid and let the guy behind me catch the ball. Just me... None of my business.

You bastard. My cat's name is Wrigley.
Well, we call him Riggs. Or Riggy. Or fucko.
Mainly fucko.

I'm with Chus and Matt. I don't need to sit in the front row holding a newborn with a soft spot on his head....NOT SAFE!

Surprised nobody brought up Speigs going to a Hawks game with his newborn a few years back.

I agree. Keep those fuckers at home until they're 25.

Seriously, the problem isn't really the babies, it's how the parents handle the babies. I don't give a fuck if you want to bring your fucking newborn to a ballgame, but if you're sitting behind me and he starts caterwauling, you better have mom feed him some tit or take him down to the concourse where the rest of us don't have to listen to him howling. I don't feel any differently about babies at a ballgame than I do about Ronnie Woo Woo.

The people who "can't find a sitter" obviously have no friends. Sorry, they should stay home.

I'm just not sure how you can enjoy a ball game bringing a baby along. I would never do it but I guess I'm among the few that wouldn't. We went to a Cubs game when our kids were 9 and 6.

I took my children to baseball games at a young age. I once sat in good seats and caught a ball while holding one.

You slow twitch muscle fucks worrying about how your going to protect the kid. Pay attention to the game and you are safe.

I agree now. When people have kids they should halt having fun or going out for at least 6-8 years. Especially if they want to do it with their kids. Lotta nerve, really.
It should be like an 8 year death sentence on fun.
Fuck it. Stay home and wash butts or something.

I don't think I'll ever have this problem since I hate doing stuff that involves getting up off the couch anyways.
