Friday, 7:15 p.m. ABC 7,
RH John Lackey (6-4, 3.41 ERA) vs. RH Jake Arrieta (7-5, 3.07).

Saturday, 6:15 p.m. FOX,
RH Michael Wacha (9-3, 2.85) vs. undecided.

Sunday, 7:05 p.m. ESPN,
RH Carlos Martinez (8-3, 2.89 ERA) vs. RH Jason Hammel (5-2, 2.65).

Will Bryant be recovered enough from the Patty Kane flu to play?
Has Jorge Soler's HGH cycle healed his ankle enough to play?
Is Lester still running his mouth?

I'll set the over/over at .5 for Cardinals players involved in a DUI accident this weekend.

Cubs can't touch Lackey so tonight is an auto loss.

They took Kershaw and Greinke to task; Lackey poses no clear and obvious threat whatsoever.

They scored 0 runs vs Grienke. Cubs seem to struggle with finesse pitchers who mix up their pitches. Hope I'm wrong about tonight.

Anytime I have a chance to be a better fan by watching the classiest and best ones in St Louis I consider it a good day.

Arrieta pitches a gem and Strop proceeds to give up a home run to the first guy he sees.

Its been almost a month since he had given up a run. It feels like hes gives up 2 or 3 runs every time he pitches.

What a shit throw by Baxter. Hopefully they don't get swept. Fuck Strop.

This one hurts. They will probably lose again tomorrow with the rookie going. In just a matter of days, we have gone from 9 over .500 to probably 5 after tomorrow night. Left way to many on base tonight. Once again made Lackey look like he is good.

What a stupid ass team. We're no where close to being a good team. Ugh.

We're good but the Cards have an aura about them. You just knew Strop was going to give it up there and the Cubs would lose. They're in the Cubs' heads. Expecting to be swept now.

I'm sitting this series out. That last cards series was enough for me.

I'll say it. Edwin Jackson has been quite good.

I'm okay checking out Edwin as the fifth starter again. At least until if/when the Cubs make a trade.

It wouldn't shock me in the least for him to reinvigorate his career as a closer

I have been surprised that they have not even tried him in that role.
