 Jordan doing work at the draft. Going to regret this one I think.

Passed up 6 picks to draft Kaminsky.

Quote:
Chris Forsberg of ESPN.com reports the Celtics offered six selections, including four first-round picks, to the Charlotte Hornets in a deal for the No. 9 pick. The Hornets refused and selected Wisconsin star Frank Kaminsky, and then the Miami Heat took Winslow.

Boston ended up drafting Louisville guard Terry Rozier with the 16th pick.

Afterward, president of basketball operations Danny Ainge discussed the crazy moments as the Celtics tried to trade into the top 10, as noted in Forsberg's report.

"Maybe we were going too hard at it," he said. "There was a time when I thought, 'Woah, this is getting a little out of control.' We're putting a lot of eggs in one young player's basket. So I'm not frustrated. In the long run, maybe it'll be the best."

Jordan loves to draft the flavor of the NCAA tourney.

Great job Frank. Someone locked you into a 1st round deal, because I would not have that guy on my team...even though he will be a 12 year NBA veteran...a better Luke Walton!

As great a player as Jordan was, he is equally as bad as an executive.

6 picks and you turn that down? Niiiiice.

The best moment of the draft was when during the Rod Thorn tribute Michael Jordan congratulated Thorn for discovering Michael Jordan.

Why does Jordan, of all people, love the big, slow, nonathletic white guy?

He took that Gonzaga guy a few years ago and that guy was out of the NBA in 3 years I think.
