ya pff sucks. baseball seems to be ahead of the big 4. they installed cameras to track routes taken by fielders, running speed etc. i believe only front offices are able to review the data and the select times they use it for broadcasts.

This is how utterly ridiculous the complaints about "run support" have gotten. Today's Tribune headline for the White Sox recap is "Sale continues to suffer from lack of support". He gave up six fucking runs, five of them earned! The guy he was facing went an inning and a third more than he did and allowed one run. Now, I know holding this Sox team to one run isn't some great feat, but talking about "run support" in a game you lost by five runs? Give me a fucking break!

Lack of support can mean more than just run support...

Bad base running...poor defense... not a whole lot about lack of run support....

Eaton then made a careless mistake in the sixth when he paused running to first when he thought Twins shortstop Eduardo Nunez had caught his liner. Nunez hadn't and threw Eaton out at first on a close play.

"I had a Sean Casey moment to be honest with you, thought he caught it twice," Eaton said. "I thought the shortstop caught it and thought (Kennys) Vargas caught it at first. … I have to run every ball out, and there is no excuse. No play is over until the guys are walking off the field. That should be the kind of player I am."

Eaton also made one of three Sox errors, taking a bad angle on a single to center field that went through his legs. It ended up being a two-base error and allowed the Twins to score one of their runs in the seventh.

It was the only series other than the Pirate series (they did us no favors in that one) that I found myself rooting for the White Sox. It was nice to watch the Cardinals lose. Sale was particularly enjoyable to watch. The Cardinals have struggled against lefties this season and that continued in this series. I have to say, I wouldn't mind seeing Sale on the North side, sticking it to the redbirds several times a year. Thanks to the South siders for small favors.

would make more sense to put put beckham at 2B and Davidson at 3B. Davidson would also hit .165 but would hit a couple of homers too.
