Dude, right at this moment we as a nation are telling other countries how to live and govern themselves.

When was the last time we didn't? When was the last time any powerful nation didn't? Our belief in God is still high and that's unlikely to change even in my great grandkids lifetime.

Really then why is Church attendance across the board at an all time low. Not just Catholic but all denominations? Saying you believe and putting it into practice are two different things.

Quick Verdict In The Case Against Ex-Gay Therapy

http://thinkprogress.org/lgbt/2015/06/2 ... d-verdict/

For those who get confused easily, this article is about an actual court ruling, and not an Op-Ed piece.

What a rough week for the gay bashers, I mean believers in traditional marriage.

Really? You actually think that a law will be passed that forces churches to hold services they don't want? I'm sure you know better than that. An employer shouldn't be allowed to tell an employee what type of coverage they are allowed to have but congress and the president made sure the churches could. Another victory for churches.

They provided no such help for churches.

Wasn't there a "fix" that many church leaders supported?

No

Their victory was won in court.

Another decision where the conclusion was arrived at improperly.

The Hobby Lobby victory was about contraceptions and not about killing babies.

Some of those pills kill babies.

Hobby Lobby doesn't have an issue with paying for contraception. Only the ones that are abortifacients.

That a few others if i remember correctly.

Interesting quote from that conservative rag Time Magazine.

It is now clear that for this Court, extremism in the pursuit of the Sexual Revolution’s goals is no vice. True, the majority opinion nodded and smiled in the direction of the First Amendment, in an attempt to calm the fears of those worried about religious liberty. But when a Supreme Court majority is willing to invent rights out of nothing, it is impossible to have faith that the First Amendment will offer any but the barest protection to religious dissenters from gay rights orthodoxy.
