:( got another email phone call

he wants me to email this guy he found on craigslist so he can get his phone number.

i told him i cannot email for him anymore, i have tried to show him how to use email for YEARS, and he still doesnt understand it. i told him he has to learn how to use email or he simply has to resign to the fact that he is not capable of using craigslist.

this is a guy that everyone tells me how smart he is/was yes, this is the alcoholic i have complained about many times over too. my 87 year old grandma loves email, she actually prefers it to talking because she cant hear anyone speak.

i even tried to tell him to type in gmail.com and he says when he does that there is absolutely no place to sign into his account. he says 'its forcing me to create and account, theres nothing else on the page'... and i reply 'but somewhere on that page must be a sign in button. just look harder' and he gets all pissed off and says theres not.

then he says 'cant you just send the email for me and ill call the guy when you get his phone number?'

"dad, i cant spend my life emailing for you. if you cant take the time to learn how to do it then you have to understand you do not have the capacity to do such a task".

he yells at me 'WELL ILL TRY THANKS' and hangs up.

I'm going to start a thread on my 70 yr old Mom going on 102.

Dad is 71 going on 60, so I guess I'm lucky. He's figured out email and txt just fine. Jut needs help setting up a network printer once over other year.
