Thanks alot.

It's not the girl who won the Win A Date With Rock.....although we do still keep in touch.

Any advice would be much appreciated on exactly how to plan this thing. I'm sure there are some vets of the game here in these forums.

Let me know

Say yes to everything. About 2 months before the date, you kind of get to choose the tuxedo.

I've got some advice. Bitch and moan to Pappy about how expensive wedding are. You'll probably get him to pay for it. Hell, he'd do it just so he can brag about paying for it and tell everybody how great he is. He'll put it in his bio next to the part where he tells everybody about the 200 charities he donates too.

All kidding aside, Congrats Rock!!!

Congrats Rock. The best tip we got and used was to hire a service (not very expensive) that handles your RSVPs. When you send invites, there's an 800 number and a website and people can just call or log on and RSVP yes or no. They also do follow up calls for those who don't respond. Saves a ton of time and stress.

advice:
1. get used to "yes, dear...whatever you want."
2. get her pregnant then call of the wedding.
3. don't do it.

congrats!

How would one call of a wedding? Would they use a cowbell?

Agree on getting out of town.

99% of the weddings I have been to have not lived up to billing.

Going somewhere cool, limits your people and thus limits the overall stress.

Rock is young. 100% sure the young lady is looking for the full boat!

Rock, I like Beardown's idea. Pappy is a generous guy, makes enough to not feel inconvenienced footing the bill, and it's a great bragging material for him. Let him take care of it if he offers.

YES. I would hate to see you lose either your Gold Coast condo or home in Palm Beach.

Take everybody's advice Rock. Especially the Pre-Nup part. You know damn well that we'll all be here to say "I told you so" in the "Rock gets divorced" thread.

Mac and Grobber wish they had this board in the 80's and 90's. That's the advantage you young radio kids have. Take advantage of us.
