Philly Sid, reading is a skill my friend.
During Critics at X-Large, Philly Sid gave Dan Pompei a thumbs down for this particular article, but he MISQUOTED the column - saying that Pompei was wrong, as Bob Sanders was NOT a first round pick - he was a second round pick. WHERE does Pompei say that Sanders was a 'first round pick'? Sid must have been reading his imaginary newspaper:
The No. 1 reason the Colts are 7-0 as they prepare to play the Patriots on Sunday and have had only one losing season in eight years is they do not miss on their first draft picks. Here are each of Bill Polian's first picks since he has been in Indianapolis: Peyton Manning, Edgerrin James, Rob Morris, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, Dallas Clark, Bob Sanders, Marlin Jackson, Joseph Addai and Anthony Gonzalez. No other team's record on first picks is close. Polian could be in line for his sixth NFL executive of the year award—unless Patriots vice president Scott Pioli steps in front of him for his third.
Sorry Sid. Bob Sanders was the first player the Colts selected in 2004:

Hang up on yourself Sid. ...and the Eagles too.
