Is it the Shop-n-Save? I think there was a Polish deli over by Randhurst, not sure if it's still around.

Waly's on Golf & Busse. There is also a Polish Deli by Randhurst but not sure it's still there.

What are they gonna do with the extra hats, ship them to needy polacks in Białystok? Image

Is the not hand out the swag the night of the game but ship them to whatever ticket broker bought the first 750 tickets to the game back in February a new, MLB wide thing? or an uncle jerry production only (so far).

When made correctly, pierogis are excellent.

Classic White Sox....750? Is it even then worth the promotion? they are giving away 750 hats? Thats quite minor league....and they mention 1800 for the "parade" ....are they going to let the first 1800 Polish people on the field for a parade? Are they on display for everyone else?

Almost as nice of a job by Brooks as his LGBT night.....didnt see a 2015 version of that?

There's a polish deli/grocery on Camp McDonald and 83 named Deli 4 You. They have a great deli/meat counter. Wide selection of sausage/kabonos. There's also another deli/grocery on 83 and Dundee called Krystyna's or KD Market.

My favorite polish deli used to be Sophie's on Northwest Highway by Central. That place was excellent.

I don't think 750 is a minor league move. I think its pure genius actually. You give away 750 free anythings, and the pollacks will line up around the block for it.

It really is a strange quantity for a giveaway. Don't they usually give like at least 10,000 away? I guess they wanted to be sure they give them all away and 750 was a safe
number for attendance. Do you have to prove you are of Polish descent to get one?

I agree 750? and T Bone....yes, there is a test to prove you are polish....however, if you fail, you are still allowed to be one of the 1800 that get on the field for the parade....yes, 1800 was the cut off for the parade. My question is, if 1800 are on the field at 6:15 PM for a 7:05 game....how many do you think are in the stands? lol

Polock, disphit.

Nas, I'll leave this for you as the most recent example of the liberality in the use of other ethnic/racial slurs. I'm not bothered. I want to highlight that it is not unique.

I apologize for my poor attempt at an off color joke. It is not really my style and obviously made a mistake.

It's not a problem. No offense taken. It's been my thing to respond that way when someone misspells the word.

I have a Cubs Polish Heritage Day hat. I kind of like it.

750 is so Sox.

Order 5K and give away unused ones at a later date. You could have that night every year in this city until the end of time. The population is always there.

Will they exhume the body of Andy the Clown and parade the coffin around the field?

He was a huge Sox Fan of Polish descent.

How do you determine?

Busia makes the best. Even now at 91. The fruit ones are the best. Either cherry or blueberry especially.

Tallest Midget award to be sure, but is there anyone you could pretend is remotely close at the moment?

Rocky making his case, and some of us around here hope for Ricketts, but Jerry is the only owner in town worth mentioning at all.

Peter Gammons likened the Sox front office to the Marge Schott Reds this morning, so I guess that's a complement.

Did you think I was unaware of this or are you quoting it for others. I referenced that Shakespeare used the word several years ago. Fuck Fortinbras and Young Fortinbras.

I pasted and copied the ad....the comments of the 750 hats (Even from Good Dolphin) and the other ethnic remarks came from everyone else.

Dont need to hate or mock, just point out the actual actions. It's ugly when you pile on and they make it too easy, I just stand back and watch.

FYI, Tuesday, July 21...Christmas in July. They are giving away 1,500 Ugly Sweater Sox t shirts.....but of course, you need to get a voucher in the mail. I am not sure if you need to believe in the baby jeezus or not?

Image

Hawg....can you guess what the biggest attended game of the year will be?
