boy is there still time for the mets to offer up syndergaard and matz for chris coghlan? it's getting pretty desperate out there and i don't think darrell ciccarelli is the answer. also i'm pretty sure that david wright is overseeing a commando unit forcing a regime change on some little blood diamond republic in africa right now or some other kind of equally-important black op because that dude str8up vanished this season. last thing i remember hearing was that he was seeing some specialists in LA and he had some sort of shrinking spine problem?

...and then you gotta remember that david wright hasn't been david wright for a few years. that .315/25/100/20 guy is long long gone, as he was something like .290/7/75/2 last year. i remember him being a fantasy albatross cuz i got him in a trade thinking "hey unique buy low opportunity!" and then being saddled with a guy on the can't cut list like HOLY SHIT SOMEONE PLZ TAKE HIM OFF OF MY TEAM FOR ANYONE! ANYONE I TELL YOU! and i barely got that to work. so yeah when THAT guy is your great offensive hope..... hmmmmm. maybe degrom syndergaard and matz for coghlan and denorfia? might have to get greedy here if you're the mets. they need to fix this and since every cubbie is sprinkled with fairy dust (or perhaps magic strobed out "dj riz" brand smoke) they can help the mets do something other than choke away a 15-4 start or whatever it was.
