Tallest Midget award to be sure, but is there anyone you could pretend is remotely close at the moment?

Rocky making his case, and some of us around here hope for Ricketts, but Jerry is the only owner in town worth mentioning at all.

Rocky Wirtz turned a dead organization into a three-time champion. Jerry Reinsdorf signed Michael Jordan's checks.

I didnt ask which night Hawg would like....its whats the most attended...

And yes, CH.....plus, they didnt even want Jordan!

"Michael is a very good offensive player but not an overpowering one," Rod Thorn, then the Bulls' GM, said after drafting Jordan. "He's not the kind of guy who will single-handedly turn around a franchise, and I'd never ask him to do that."

It would've been a Herculean task to make the Hawks worse.

Neither one has anything to do with assembling the player talent, so I fail to see that point holding water. They both got the right non-player personnel in the right places, be it Quenneville & Bowman vs Jackson & Krause.

The tally is 7-3. Even if we want to argue the Hawks should've won last year, we then have to acknowledge that the Bulls very well should've won 94 & 95 if Jordan didn't lose his mind ... which would make it 9-4.

The fact remains that at present Jerry stands as "the most successful sports owner in Chicago", his being a halfwit notwithstanding.

I like this idea. I also like the different ethnic days. It's just the way the Sox implement things that is always underwhelming.

Who has a giveaway to 750 people or 1,500 people? If you are going to do something, do it right. Everyone in attendance gets one.

I know Rick hasn't been around much to remind but 8-3 for JR

Doesn't Wirtz own a piece of the Bulls?

I would not call Jerry a halfwit, but he landed the golden goose....the biggest problem Reinsdorf had was getting Wirtz to agree to the new UC...All Wirtz did was put up the land....

And while the Hawks had nowhere to go but up, Rocky has still done a fabulous job

Okay, I'll have to plead ignorance ... 6 Bulls + 1 White Sox = 7 ... what's the other championship?

Okay Billy ... we'll forward this to Jerry's desk and you'll be ushered right in to the Cell, hat in hand, on the appointed evening ... mission accomplished.

What a simplistic view. Let's talk about Reinsdorf's failures, like getting busted for fucking COLLUSION or orchestrating a work stoppage that cancelled the World Series. This guy sucks. Don't apologize for him.

I'm not apologizing for him, numbnuts. I'm counting whole numbers.

He probably does suck. This wasn't a question about being lovable and huggable. It was a question of the most successful owner in Chicago.

It's particularly funny this argument coming from someone who can't write often enough how terrible the contracts are for the top two guys on the Blackhawks and how it's ruining them. Pick a lane, Skippy.

I don't consider it a success to have torpedoed professional baseball for years, no matter how many titles the Bulls won.

Well gee whiz if that's what you think then it's gotta be universally true.

Okay, let's not dwell on anything terrible he's done because you can't count it with whole numbers. SEVEN RINGZ BITCHEZZZZZZZZZZZ

Luck fucknut ... point to me where this was said to be a discussion of morality.

One qualifying two-word phrase was invoked - "most successful". Period.

Stick to spending a month telling people how the Blackhawks have no chance to win the 2015 Stanley Cup.
