Two consecutive callers were telling Bernstein that the Bulls were not farsighted (knowing the TV money was exploding) or were cheap (i.e., pernicious myths) in not giving Butler the couple extra million he asked for last year, and now had to pay an extra 40 million. Dan was adamant that it would have made zero difference in who they could sign, now or in the future, as they have the player they want at a "cap-friendly price." At one point the second guy told Bernstein that he was just making stuff up because he knew he was wrong. When Dan realized he wasn't making much sense, he then said "well, they're not going to be any good next year anyway."

I listen live everyday from 1-3, and then check the podcast later to see if anything good came up after that. This is my favorite part of the year to listen, because you get good baseball stuff. I tune out during bears season.

Fun fact: this is the only terrestrial radio show I find interesting, nay, tolerable, to any capacity.

To torture myself I'll tune in to 1000 a couple times a week, but Defalco (Abbatacola with down syndrome) and Yurko are awful, and Waddle and Silvy (real life garden gnome, except weirder looking) are retarded and boring.
