Its just not funny. I mean Carol Burnett was a hundred times funnier than this dude and it was earlier than 1975 (mostly). So that dude it's a long time ago and times changed and womyn in the keetchen and what not fuck all man. This dude is not funny.

1975 was a great year to be born.

Both Gallaghers are funnier than Dana Carvey.

I don't think I've ever seen hi standup stuff but I liked him on SNL. VH1 was running a best of Chris Farley this afternoon. It made me laugh.

Comedy Central used to run a Dana Carvey standup special alllllll the time when I was a kid. Like Breakfast-Club-on-TBS-level rerunning. One of his bits was taking an old man to the grocery store like a baby, another was what Jimmy Stewart would be like if he were getting a blowjob. I'm going to go ahead and guess it didn't age terribly well.

Man, they just did Carvey's marginally funny characters to death. The Church Lady- fucking horrible. That was the beginning of running characters into the ground. And then they usually made a terrible movie with them.

I still like, thinking back now, how he admitted that his George Bush impression was actually kind of terrible. "It's really more of a spastic Paul Lynde."

Twelve-year-old Dave in Champaign thought that was the funniest shit in human history. I must have seen it two dozen times.

Haha, I bet you remember the first time Comedy Central ran No Cure For Cancer, then, too.

Their comedy stylings were definitely underrated.

That was kind of a Loren Michaels thing, at least that was what was said in an interview.

It was the first year I drove a car. I was 18 months old at the time. I made the second page of the Daily Herald under the blurb, "Tot drives car through garage." I still have a copy of that newspaper. August 1975.

I wasn't old enough to remember that year but I like to think of kids shows on WFLD 32 when I remember the 70s.
