On the single? That was fair

I was listening to the Cardinal radio broadcast and they thought it was the right call and that the Cards overreacted. Kinda surprised me that was their take

Shannon is always a good listen for me. I like him and Rooney. He is a pretty straight shooter and calls the game kind of like Jack did.

Enjoyable to see role-reversal take place twice today between these two teams.

Nice to see them finally beat the birds like the birds beat them. Gotta win tomorrow and then probably get swept by the resurgence offense of the Sock.

Motte is the spitting image of Bustoff.

The Russell play was called correctly.

I love how this team has responded since getting their ass kicked by the Cards and the last two games of the Dodger series winning 7 of 9 since.

Great wins but keeping things in perspective it took facing two guys with ERAs over 5 for the Cubs to pull out some wins vs the Cards. Let's see them beat Wacha tonight.

Mozeliak has decided to fire the entire scouting department and tank the rest of the season to get a better draft pick.

Hanley and Rozner made it sound like Molina was mad that Siegrist didn't come home with the throw, but Molina was pointing to second to tell him to try for the double play. Molina's subsequent exasperation was at the horribleness of the throw.

Wonder how the Cardinals fans deal with Peralta not busting out of the box on that should-be double. Is there a Cardinal Way of punishing players who don't play the Cardinal Way?

I thought about this too. I assume they do some sort of Passion Of The Christ beatdown in the locker room.

Yep. The years it looks like one team should beat down the other, it seems like it goes the other way.

This is going to be a disaster game. Richard can't throw strikes. Going to be 10-0 pretty soon

Well, you might as well stretch out Edwin Jackson a bit tonight.

Richard looks horrible. Hammel looks like he may just have a mild hamstring strain, so I'm not get carried away with worry. But it does remind one of just how thin the starting pitching depth is on this team. Hate to just chalk this one up in the 4th inning, but it sure looks bleak.

Wow, this game is awful. The only highlight is I had some action on the Cards at plus money. Richard is awful. I faced high school pitchers who had better stuff. The strikezone has been brutal, but I don't think that would help him much.

They have tomorrow off, so they can use the bullpen as needed. That said, I might throw Jackson and let him get his brains beat in, to further justify him being waived tomorrow morning.

Oh my god Wacha just buttfucked himself. Looked like a little leaguer out there missing covering first. Embarrassing.
