Just caught a bit on lunch and Goff said people don't have to look for reasons not to like him, there's a whole list of reasons. Well who better to compile said list the prestigious CSFMB?

Fire away

It's not liking the person, because he is a good dude....its just a bad show he is involved in....and I dont sense any effort to do much other than retain the status quo.

I don't need to be told daily that Jason is A GROWN-ASS MAN.

For the record - I don't dislike him personally but the show is just not good.

I think he's working straight from the WSCR stylebook.

Big Fan hit it. Goff probably rolls into the studio at 8:55. Mic goes on at 9:02. So he's thinking about what to say in those 7 minutes cuz he hadn't really thought about it before 8:55. So it's "I'll just talk about what I did yesterday."

It's cool to talk about yourself if you have an interesting story. But Goff, Larry and Spiegel don't have any interesting stories. It's pretty much "I ordered a pizza last night and watched the game."

They really have just been lazy and that is the biggest issue. Show prep, do it.

I like goff. The show is better with him on it. Was iffy at best with Mannelly.
You know what would be better? Goff and Holmes.
I know what your thinking. Whatever. I think it'd be good.

He's the same guy that wouldn't make a list.

I know guys that would take your list and feed it down your esophagus and just give $300 rather than you having a list.

The false claims of knowing bad asses or criminals certainly belongs on the list. Why does Goff to project this image of himself? To let people know that he has a dangerous side or life?

I know. But he wants people to think otherwise, I guess. Cuz as Doc said in another thread "He knows dudes that will...blah, blah, blah."

What's the reason for that?

This is about Goff... not Mully.

He's basically a Mully acolyte in that regard.

For me, though, it's the laughing and clapping. I'd estimate that if you broke it down, he's laughing more than not during any given show. Literally. I literally believe he's laughing more than half the time. A lot of times, he feels the need to punctuate the laughing with a clap. It's unbearable. Someone really needs to tell him to stop.

As we know Spiegs rolls in at 8:50 AM....and I understand why...he is a host...not a producer anymore, yet he has been a producer, so was Goff....and now it seems they make no effort to improve the show. They are present just to talk and not add to the show itself.

Sometimes it's had to find an Uber car that is big enough.

I'm going to add sighing. He sighs for effect all the time. It doesn't have any effect when you do it that much.

Spiegel sighs constantly. If Goff does it, too, you could call the show Giggles & Sighs.

Yeah, they both clap and sigh all the time. It's truly incredible.

I'm going to add "hell" to the list of reasons. He starts way too many sentences with "hell."

A $10 wager on the HR Derby means you have a problem. Ohhhhhhhhhhhkay, Goffer. Excessive table slapping also could be considered a "problem." Only bet what you can afford to lose.

I have been getting a good dose of this show while driving around. Their "Guy Talk" blows but the nervous and or forced cackling and giggling drives me nuts! I try to play the dial but ESPN sucks so does 890,720,etc.

I like Speigs overall but I think Goff feels the need to be the clever wiseass every 4 minutes. Too much Bernsie in him I guess.

That foaming-at-the-mouth cackle/giggle/whatever the fuck it is. Boers does the same damn thing. I've never made anything remotely close to that sound in my life. It's disgusting.

The "it's likes" are too much to take. *Insert any situation ever* "it's like when you're hangin with the boys at the club" or "it's like when you're hangin with your girl at the crib." No Jason it's not like that at all. Stop.

"It's like" feeling the need to talk but not really having anything to say. "It's like" responding to something specific with a broad generality. "It's like" two guys talking but not having a conversation.

Don't get me started on Boers, I'm wondering if he's having a real medical condition.

Goff has a ton of vocal crutches. He'll almost always end his point with 5-7 more words than necessary. Like, instead of "what's happening with Cole Hamels?' it'll be 'what's the deal with this Cole Hamels situation happening presently at the moment out there in the MLB conversation?'
