The above link includes audio from Seinfeld's interview.

Like Chris Rock and Larry the Cable Guy, Jerry Seinfeld avoids doing shows on college campuses. And while talking with ESPN’s Colin Cowherd on Thursday, the comedian revealed why: College kids today are too politically correct.

“I hear that all the time,” Seinfeld said on The Herd with Colin Cowherd. “I don’t play colleges, but I hear a lot of people tell me, ‘Don’t go near colleges. They’re so PC.’”

Seinfeld says teens and college-aged kids don’t understand what it means to throw around certain politically-correct terms. “They just want to use these words: ‘That’s racist;’ ‘That’s sexist;’ ‘That’s prejudice,’” he said. “They don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.”

The funnyman went on to recount a conversation he and his wife had with their 14-year-old daughter, which he believes proved his point.

“My wife says to her, ‘Well, you know, in the next couple years, I think maybe you’re going to want to be hanging around the city more on the weekends, so you can see boys,’” Seinfeld recalled. “You know what my daughter says? She says, ‘That’s sexist.’”

Cowherd pointed out the flack comedian Louis C.K. received after his controversial appearance on Saturday Night Live last month, further proving Seinfeld’s point.

“Louis’ great gift is that he doesn’t worry, he just does his thing,” he said. And Seinfeld’s not scared to make his point, either: “If I wanted to say something, I would say it.”

But for now, Seinfeld will stick to covering the topics he can feels he can make humorous, PC or not. “I talk about the subjects I talk about because for some reason I can make them funny,” he said. “The ones I can’t make funny, you don’t hear.”

It's a sad state of affairs.

I think this is Jerry's point.

Perhaps, but finding Seinfeld unfunny pokes holes in your statement.

at work i just put in a windows A/C unit in a door (yeah). anyway, its one of those that uses its condenser fan to splash the water waste onto the condenser for evaporative cooling.

now they are worried that in the winter the unit will freeze up. they say its not in the cards to just run the fan and let nature cool the IT room...

should i just drill a hole in the bottom and let the water drain before it builds up at all?

I'm sure many college activity boards can afford the fee that Seinfeld charges.

Along those lines, I'm announcing that I'm no longer going to deliver pizzas.".

I don't know why Seinfeld would be scared of the PC people. Seinfeld is a very PC comedian. He never broaches controversial issues or subjects.

Why is he still doing stand up anyway? He's gotta be worth 500 million from that show.

He did stand up on Letterman a few months ago. Tame and bad.

Good point. He's just saying that cuz he knows he couldn't get a crowd from college kids anyway. Most of them would rather spend $200 at a bar or strip club than pay that to see him. Have big time comedians done college campuses in the past? I don't think so.

Thought maybe this was going to be indoors side of the drain pan and you'd need a condensate pump to move the water to a floor drain or a sink or something.
Sure why not drill a hole... however... I'd put in a brass nipple and run a trap or pigtail some 5/8th vinyl tubing to the ground. If this is for an IT room and you're running in freezing outdoor conditions be wary of freeze ups.

Kevin Smith, speaking tour....on DVD...6 hours of college campus talks...He deals with the little shits better than anyone...

STUDENT: You seem to objectify gay humor in many of your films. One of them I counted over 72 uses of the word cock.
KEVIN: You are right, the gay cock slurs, I thought was too many...but my fucking gay brother, who worked on the film you are talking about wanted more, so...what can I do?

STUDENT: When you emphasize the camera angle that slowly closes in on the subject speaking is that in order to emphasize the finale v the start of his monologue for effect?
KEVIN: What the fuck are you talking about?

Just an example of the DVD and the story behind his dealings with Prince.

The Prince story is classic. So is his explanation of Banky and Jays story about who he meet in Rehab.

Prince doesn't believe that people should be able to cover a song. He's still pissed at Dave Grohl over "Darling Nikki". I had a cover of "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man" on my Sound Cloud page and Prince got it taken down. The guy is a billionaire who gets more pussy than Warren Beatty but he's worried about a lo-fi version of his song by a guy who calls himself Joe Orr Road Rod on the Internet that has less than 100 listens.  Hey Prince, music is now free. I might pay the fifteen bucks for the mechanical license and put it back up just to stick it in his little purple ass.

It's so weird that Prince does that considering that he himself has done hundreds of covers over the years.

I was in a Blockbuster one night...and saw the Cover of "One night with Kevin Smith"...Looked like a standup bit...figured I would try it....

After 2 minutes, I realize its a speaking tour...and was kinda bummed....6 hours later...its one of the best things I have watched.

I'm surprised that Jerry is surprised.

There is one episode where they are at the Puerto Rican day parade, and through a series of events the Puerto Rican flag in Kramer's car started on fire. They never show that episode in syndication.

It's too bad. In the same episode, George gets into it with the laser pointer guy at the movies.

That's interesting, since Prince has performed and recorded numerous covers over the years.

Maybe college kids don't find his observations funny. They don't care that the bag of airline peanuts is so small.
