You have every right to change your mind and go back to the Clippers.

But at least be a man and contact the Mavs and let them know that you changed your mind. Don't hide and ignore them like a little bitch.

Approved.

Backing out of a handshake agreement is a terrible thing to do. I believe Carlos Boozer also did this to the Cavs when he ended up signing with Utah.

I don't understand the purpose of this interim negotiating period/moratorium...why not allow players to sign once free agency starts?

I don't get it either, but this according to the ESPN article:

The NBA's moratorium period at the start of July every year is designed to allow the league to calculate the precise new salary-cap and luxury-tax figures for the coming season.

Bob Wolf, former agent....and Bruckheimer, both famous for shaking on a deal. Not saying they didnt sign deals, as I am sure others needed them to sign things, but i know most of their agency relationships were handshakes agreements. If you didnt want me around, you can leave, was the philosophy.

Seeing the nomination and raising one.

DJ's a chickenshit & Broussard's just a piece of shit.

edit: make it a trifecta of twattery ... enter Doc:

Doc on whether DJ should have called Dallas owner Mark Cuban, "No."

I wonder how many times in all of Cuban's business dealings where he has changed his mind at the last second on a decision and not notified the other party, I would be it is more than 1.

I'm confident he hasn't done it with an NBA player. He's a players' owner.

I am not saying he did, just in general. Jordan didn't handle it properly, but I would be shocked if good Ol Marky boy has always done things on the up and up also.

Jordan is a coward. I wouldn't want to be in a battle with him on my side.

I heard something yesterday that usually the players never call and tell a team they are not coming, it is the job of the agent.

I'm sure he has. People usually do things like that because they have leverage and are trying to get more out of the deal. Becauseof state taxes Jordan is getting less.

Players don't usually do shit like this. I believe this is the 2nd time and from what I'm reading the agent was locked out too.

He didn't tell his agent what he was doing and wouldn't take his calls either.

Hard to believe things could go so badly with a free agent without Bennie the Bull being involved.
