This has really been a solid series so far. I love the results and the effects that will come from them. Kenny won't trade anyone and is all in it to win it. Jed/Theo realize this team has potential but has been fools gold so far and wont do something brash and trade away prospects for a quick fix.

Who cares about the playoffs when your #1 starter is terrible. You can't spot the other team 3-5 runs. These kids have won some games but nothing they do is consistent. I felt far less pain watching this team miss the playoffs then when they got their pants pulled down 2 years in a row vs the Dbacks and Dodgers.

Oh well. Nice series win and nice way to end the first half. Big four game series against KC to start the 2nd half. That series will go a long way in determining what direction they go. I'd love to see them start Sale and Zija on Friday but they'll probably hold Sale back to Sunday to give him a couple more days rest.
