Yeah she's pushing the envelope. Her hearing is pretty much gone but she still gets around reasonably well. Truly awesome with kids though. To this day they can do anything they want to her and she goes with the flow. If a stranger is in the house she always makes sure she stays between that person and them--the kids gave her a renewed purpose in life when they were born. Until then she was crazy for roughly 20 hours a day. I don't think I could ever get another kind of dog.

My dog, Layla, is my avatar.
She's a Lhasa Asa Poodle mix.
14 lbs, doesn't shed and I don't throw out my back shoveling her crap.
Lowest maintenance dog I have ever had. Doesn't bark ever, just wants to run around the back yard in the morning and maybe a walk in the evening and then to be allowed to sleep for 20 hours a day.

Big already Doug. GF has a Yellow Lab about 10 that is such an awesome companion. Has a 6 year old Chocolate that is fine but completely different. Not as loving but will go in the pool and get a tennis pool 1,000 times and ask for more. My dog is a more rare Blue Healer with some boxer mixed in. Great shepherding dog from Australian to keep those two in check and exercised.

She's a monster. We havent had her weighed in 2 months but she was 68lbs then. Her Dad was the biggest lab I've ever seen. Close to 100 for sure, her mom was around 85-90.

Well, I made the mistake of not knocking on wood. The old girl had some type of stroke on Friday and we had to put her to sleep. Her one and only sports connection is that she once went apeshit on one of Stan Bowman's Rottweilers when it stuck its nose in my son's stroller at a block party. RIP Bernie (as in Bernadette).

Sorry DannyB.
My family has 3 cats. 1 4 year old fixed dark brown male FELINE.
And 2 2-year old sister FELINES.

We had a bunch of pets when I was a kid. I got a kitten for my 13th birthday.
We had a little tiny de-barked sheltie, a big German named Thor, an orange boxer named Ginger.
Another cat named Moochie, another cat named Munchie who would literally make the the famous
"No No No Cat" sounds when we would hand feed him Carl Buddig corned beef. He loved it, and it was always funny.
We didn't always have all of them all at the same time, but over 41 years, I can't really remember a time where a pet wasn't a part of my life my life.
