My phone goes off like D Day at the slightest hint of rain now....and WTF is a BEACH ALERT? and why do I need to know this condition exists ASAP...so much that my phone buzzs at 4 AM????

Yes, I just turn off the notifications....AGAIN.....

If it is the Weather Channel app, you can choose which notifications you receive.

It's even worse when you're driving 80mph and cross into a new county that has a warning.

Damn near drove off the rode.

I use 1 Weather. It's a fantastic app. Probably the best weather app I've used and I've used most of them.

Accuweather is what I use....even today the Icon has a "!" in a red circle as if some terrible weather is coming.

I just need Tom Skilling to call me during Cubs games...that would work better.

Just delete the app. I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've checked the weather on my phone.

Then you should delete the app on your phone....I need to know the weather, as sometimes my people work outside.
