My nephew is a huge Pujols fan, stemming back from his Cardinals days. Anywho, I told him I would take him to a game next time Alberta was in town. Going on 8/10. I see $9 nose bleeds. My question, is it pretty easy to sit wherever? I know attendance sucks, so I'd rather not spend $50 for good seats if I can pay a fraction of that and sit in virtually the same place.

so you ignore every BigFan thread. I'm sure he'll be glad to know that.

it's a white sox game so there's always going to be room to move around. since those dudes ran on the field to assault the royals coach they've been locking down the decks like you gotta have a 100 level ticket to get access to the lower deck.... or if you have a proper reason to go down there, like a few years back when they had some scratch-n-win contest on tuesdays or wednesdays or something i won free tickets to an upcoming game so i had to go to the guest relations thing in the lower deck concourse, so they let me in with that winning ticket and my 500-level upper deck ticket. after i got my free ticket/s to go see vlad and the angels again i just stayed down there and sat in the open seats cuz once you're in there's an artform to sitting in better seats.... but yeah its not like it used to be where you could start way up in the upper deck and end up sitting a few rows back of third base by the 7th-9th inning. now you've gotta have some excuse/reason/bullshit to get downstairs with an upstairs ticket.

so if you get the cheapest 100 level ticket you can go take some liberties down there, otherwise you're going to have to think up something if you wanna get down there with a 500 level ticket. and up in the 500s during a day game you'll probably want to sit some rows back behind the shade line anyways, it was like a ~20 degree difference on a ~90-95 degree day last friday.

...So if you have a 500 level ticket and a Scratch and Win ticket, then go to guest relations, by the 7th inning you can sit in section 100? Sounds like a great night

Its pretty easy. The last few times I have gone they have not even had ushers on the 100 level checking the lower/upper level tickets. Buy a bleacher or outfield reserved seat and by the 3rd inning you should be able to jump around to almost any seat you want, except for scout seats and directly behind the plate.

They haven't quite been guarding the 100 level as if it's Fort Knox this season. I'm sure people are already agitated with standing in the long ass metal detector lines even though there are only 20,000 at the game.

Also, fuck their giveaways. How can it be that they run out of rings, bobbleheads, whatever when they're supposedly giving away 20,000 and I get in the park and it's almost empty? I'd like to shove a Beckham bobblehead up Brooks Boyer's ass.

8/1 is Scotty Pods bobblehead day. You can have mine, JORR.
