Is the drive in still functioning in West Chicago? Seems like the only safe place to view a movie outside the home now adays...but when I do go, Always sit up top near the exits

...and mental illness and depression does not make one insane. I believe insane from the legal side of things (Lawers?) is not understanding the consequences of your actions? I would say most people understand that killing yourself is GAME OVER. Thats a choice they make....doesnt mean they are insane.

it seems like you seem to be looking at it from a court/prosecution angle...as in using an illness as an excuse to get a lighter sentence
i think it would be important to look at someone like that with a mental illness in a broader sense in how can they be treated, etc. to prevent things like this from happening...but as has been mentioned numerous times we'd rather either not deal with those kind of people at all or throw them in jail to rot since funding for things like that have basically been reduced to 0

This is true but after most of these shootings (maybe all) we find out the person has a history of mental illness.
