Today
Jerome Williams (3-7 6.43) vs Jon Lester (5-8 3.37)

Saturday
Cole Hamels (5-7 3.91) vs Jake Arrietta (11-5 2.52)

Sunday
Aaron Nola (0-1 1.50) vs Jason Hammel (5-4 2.82)

I'd like to think the Cubs will sweep but they play down to their opponents and the Phillies are playing their best baseball of the year going 5-1 since the break. The Saturday matchup should be good. Might be Hamels last shot to show contending teams he still has it, everything is on the line for him. Cubs take two out of three with a chance of sweep.

You know the Cubs are back when.....you pay $150 for a good seat and feel good about it.

2-1 count on Castro next pitch looked a little to the outside and of course he tries to pull it

We all better get used to it because I don't think he's going anywhere.

I saw in the reports of the trade offer that Castro is owed an average of 9 million per over the next four years, so he is not really even an inexpensive acquisition if someone is willing to take the risk

Personally, I think I would take the risk on him but that is one that could really blow up in a GMs face

Have to love the Phillies base runner just standing half way between 2nd and 3rd after the pitch

What are day night splits with Bryant vs good pitchers and cabbage throwers?
