for a second i thought the thread title was referencing JA Happ becoming "Ian Hpp" in much the same say "Mike Stanton" became "Giancarlo Stanton"

i'm assuming since ian happ is a cubs' first round pick he's well over 100%-cromulent and due to make a significant impact on the whole ballclub starting next season (right after the super 2 date). once the cubs unleash their schwarbers-of-pitching it's gonna be bonkers up on the northside..... kids are gonna grow up like "holy crap, my grandpa told me about how there used to be this big fat guy named baby ruth who was kyle schwarber long before there was even a kyle schwarber!"

of course it doesn't help that when i think of "babe FUCKING ruth" i get a mental image of babe the pig having his way with ruth (alice morgan) from luther. these are the kind of thoughts that will get me in a FEMA camp someday!
