Chances are they are still a year away from being a true playoff team. Now if they can land another starter this season and maybe a CF to upgrade Fowler, they will be alright. And Castro needs to be gone. He has become a liability at the plate and never has been a plus defender.

Castro blows and they know this. Fowler they expected more from and did not get it. When both are gone and upgrades are made maybe?

For sure. The future is bright but this year I think they miss the playoffs by 2-4 games.

The Giants are the Giants. Look for them to get on a roll when the chips are down.

Very weird for Valbuena not to be hitting at least 40 points higher but still 19 HR's is a lot!
