He had better hope that when they pull his text messages that he is right, also would suggest that he doesn't have a mistress. Not so sure the destroying of the cell phone is a good idea. Kind of reminding me of the Arod denial.

The NFL ain't the FBI ...they don't have the authority to subpoena his phone records. He should have just manned up n took his 4 game suspension.

A far better explanation would be someone stole his phone .

I thought the whole deflate gate thing was much ado about nothing...but Brady has made things worse for himself by wanting to fight & take on Roger & the NFL...& breaking his cell phone just looks bad.

This may be the dumbest scandal in NFL history.

By far.

I don't know, deflated balls are pretty serious if everybody else's balls are good. I feel like they are bad cheaters that cheat all the time. He's talented for sure but has also had a lot of what the French call a certain I don't know what.

The Ravens complained about this in October. Nothing done. Why? Imo, because most teams do it. (A Rodgers kind of admitted to cheating the other way iirc) And think about the irony there, the Ravens, team of gf beaters/murder accomplices, are the "white knight" here?;)

They check the K Balls, have checked them for years. They've had standards for years, with no efforts to actually enforce them. They don't mandate any real field playability standards. Uniform violations, death. Concern about the brand of headphones players wear in pregame warmups...let me see your wallet.

And Goodell is absolute sleaze. IMO he is the embodiment of the worst that the NFL has become.

Brady's 4-2

Montana was a prick disliked by most of his teammates. He also was a beneficiary of the inherent stupidity and failure of other NFL teams unwilling to take Bill Walsh's offense seriously enough.

But none of this was at issue.

F with baseball, & I'll start talking about how old time hockey (& football) was so much better than the crap you pay for today.

Not well, the ice on the U of C Midway blew and most Lab kids didn't play hockey.

But as a yout I loved the old Broad Street Bullies. (And Stan Mikita)

My dad grew up in the oak park area. One of the Blackhawks...maybe Pierre Pilote had a house close to him. They picked up a tv at or for ridgeland commons and saw him and bobby hull walking a dog. Best day of his life.

I grew up in Oak Park & spent a lot of time as a yute at ridgeland commons skating, concerts, baseball etc...Hawks used to practice at ridgeland commons. Most of the players lived in Elmhurst so it was a short drive for them.

If you get caught cheating, you serve a penalty.

If you get caught cheating, and then destroy the evidence your boss wants/has and then bad mouth your boss, you get more of a penalty.

This is really not that big of a deal. He should sack up and drop it. He got busted. Maybe he's done it for 10 years, but he got caught. Stop yourself before it gets worse, you headband wearing crybaby. :D

Nomination supported, Tom Brady is indeed a douchebag. Feel free to douchebag the NFL for how they handled it, but TB is still a douchebag.

This.

Both of them being wrong doesn't make Brady less wrong.
