Blue Jays just freaked out and traded for Tulo. The Sox are putting the WC race on notice.

The Blue Jays sure did freak out but they still don't scare me. Maybe they will if they pickup an ace but we'll see. AA will find a way to fuck it up.

I'm sure the Jays tried to get Carlos Sanchez but the asking price was too high.

Wait til the Yankees n Angels beat the piss out of these pretenders after bottom feeding Boston series. Its fools gold..it would be real dumb to not move Samardiza before his start 2nite.

Only if the return is sufficient. If not, they can take the pick for him in the draft.

The Sawks are swinging early and that's very Un-Sawks like. They must not want the chicken to get cold and the beer to get warm.

Well, Abreu proving, once again, that he's the best bitter in Chicago and the league.

Kinda Frank Thomas like.

But even then, some only wanted to focus on the metrics that never really seem to matter. :D

If you're not scoring runs or driving them in, what the fuck are you doing to "create" runs or accumulate "wins" over a "replacement"?

I see the Marlins are making Martin Prado available. He would be a nice upgrade at 3B. He's signed thru next year at $11M but the Yankees are responsible for $3M.

The Sox can't afford to give away anything in a trade.

Sure they can. They have good pitching depth in the minors and can certainly afford to give up a couple arms for a guy who can slide right in the 2 spot and plays very good defense at 3B.
