Yeah, this is pretty disgusting all around from bating the animal off protected ground, to shooting it with an arrow causing it to suffer for 40
hours, shooting it dead and then skinning it and cutting the head off. What a turd. I have no problem with hunting at all but either baiting
and spotting animals and killing endangered animals like rhinos I just don't get at all. Just for a head or skin on the wall.

trophy hunters are at times in many areas the only monetary source for conservation. most of the time especially with lions or other big large predators its due to a problem with the animal or some other issue and the animal needs to be put down for some justifiable reason. Instead of the gvt doing it for nothing, they allow outfitters to find clients who will do it for some ridiculous amount of money. For herd type animals its population control, just like deer over here. One of the issues are the outfitters are sometimes absolutely full of crap. money does not go to conservation projects and you may be possibly not hunting any problem animals…just animals. Many times the hunters don't care they just want a trophy but often times they do.

you have to do massive amounts of homework before you go on one of these types of hunts.

and yes you can eat lion. over here in the quad cities we had a place called harolds on the rock that would have all sorts of exotic meats you could eat.
