The Cubs had two hits at the time. That seemed like a poor time to get chirpy. And I thought winning seven games in a row against bad teams wasn't impressive? Cubs are 7-6 against the worst the NL has to offer. Or as Cubbie Nation calls it, time to get excited.

Avi needs a couple days off too. First he miss plays a ball in right that led to a run then he has an awful AB. He takes a fastball right down the middle then swings and misses at an up and in fastball that almost hit him then he swings at a curveball in the middle of the left handed batters box. Bad defense and non competitive at bats equals a couple days on the bench to regroup.
