The best thing he does musically is play drums.

Yes, I agree. Still doesn't mean he's a million times better at playing drums than he is at playing guitar and singing...

I'd figure JORR would at least appreciate Dave's love of the "underground" punk scene...

GROHL HAS ALWAYS LOVED THE PUNK SCENE. HE'S THE COOLEST EVER!!!!

Would Grohl get more love if he was a junkie and killed himself with a shotgun? He obviously was the most talented in Nirvana looking back.

That's like saying Ringo was the most talented Beatle. "Big Me" = "The No-No Song".

Sometimes I feel that I'm the only person who thinks the Foo Fighters suck balls. I enjoy his drumming though.

The Foo Fighters have a handful of good songs.....a handful. They have a lot of stuff that is very "meh", but damnit, Dave Grohl as a frontman can sell it.

I like them, but don't love them. I think they'r overrated...and as a reminder, just because they're overrated doesn't mean they're not good.

The review for Sonic Highways should have been merely a two-word review that just said "Shit Highways."

They've made a few good songs over the years but overall, what an underwhelming band. They've traded on making straight-white-male music and calling it "saving rock and roll," or Dave Grohl being a Pretty Chill Down-To-Earth Dude. Has anyone ever complimented Michael Stipe or David Byrne or Thom Yorke or Bono for being a pretty chill, down-to-earth dude? No, no one had to, because people were too busy writing about how good their music was. The Foo Fighters are for people who need a band you can sit down and have a beer with.

Dave Grohl: Hot Slut of the Day!

http://dlisted.com/2016/02/16/hot-slut-of-the-day-898/

"Dave Grohl is somebody’s suburban dad whose buzz hits right when his favorite Lionel Richie song comes on at the backyard BBQ. No word on what was in Dave Grohl’s red Solo cup, but I’m going with Budweiser. But Bud Light, of course, because it was a school night and I bet he was in charge of the carpool. Now THAT is rock ‘n fucking roll."
