Parody is allowed, I don't think impersonating is. Like the dozens of fake Woj accounts that pop up. This one is just to dupe people into RTing. It just so happens that Dan and his reporter hat are self-parody, so strict impersonation does have some comedic value.

My friend works for EA sports and he told me that EA has told him he is not allowed to even mention Kane's name anywhere online or any official capacity.

Danny has to be having a great day with this it seems. He can very carefully make it seem as if Kane is guilty without really saying it. Also, he can talk about all his previous whispers from Blackhawks management on the old Kaner stuff as they are in a really smart "lockdown" right now. High and mighty and say he hasn't judged yet. Just right up his alley.
