I think he's pretty funny. There are some scary looking guys on that offensive line,if they can play that way is another story. I think they can. I think a lot rides on Slauson being healthy.

Grasu:I have to start catching up on my Bears Roster knowledge. This rookie center was drafted in the 3rd round. I think he might have dropped due to an ankle injury suffered in his final season. Is he looking good in camp and pushing the vet,McCormick?

I know the Bear would love for Grasu to take over sooner rather than later, but with Montgomery's familiarity with Gase's system, I think he's got the nod as of right now when it comes to the starting job.

Kyle Long called him a best friend...now that doesnt win you a job, but it keeps you around and gets you more than a chance.

Why #50 is here. I still dont know why.

He's probably going to open the season as a backup to Will Montgomery. Montgomery knows the Gase/Fox offensive system, the line calls, etc. and it's probably an easier transition to have that in place;

Grasu is the future, Kyle Long being his best friend is nice but not important; he's a 3rd round pick and Montgomery is considered to be a stop-gap of sorts.

tongue-in-cheek? pulled from mmqb so context is missing. he better be joking.

I thought Grassau looked horrible in that game...both physically weak and mentally unprepared
