Maddon saying this isn't a normal 'day off' for Castro, IE lack of production benching. If that decision has been made, get Baez up here and lets go.

Dunno keep hearing about how good a season he's having. He's like a position player Jon Lester.

The Cub with good young ballplayers? It's almost too good to be true. I'm still in disbelief that it seems we can finally evaluate young talent.

Barring some major injuries, we Cub fans are in for some exciting baseball for years to come.

Better to fall than to be DOA when the season starts.

I don't think this is the time for Baez. He had his shot last year and blew it. I personally think he is a bust but also think it's fair to give him a second chance, just not during the stretch run of the season when a playoff spot is on the line. Rather just forget about that til 2016

I would love to see Hendricks have a great outing tomorrow. He has had a bunch of good starts over the past couple months and Matt Cain should be a guy the Cubs can score a few against. If Hendricks can win tomorrow, Arietta should give them a good chance to sweep and really put themselves in a nice position in the wildcard race.

Fantastic win yesterday. Russell was OUTSTANDING at SS. His swipe on the stolen base and the save and flick to 1B on Lester's toss showed his athleticism. A bunch of 2-out hits was great to see. We can see why Orioles dumped Tommy Hunter while still being in the AL WC race. That's two dongs he's given up in 2 days. However, Rondon has made everyone forget about his horrid May. He's firing bullets.

Also, yesterday was an excellent example of the importance of a great manager. Maddon pantsed Bochy. Sweep is in sight!

Maddon is so quick to pull a guy. That's my only complaint with him. That's part of the reason why the bullpen is so taxed. I really hope Arrieta brings it tomorrow and we can at least get 7 strong from him if not more. This bullpen could use 2 days off or so.

Originally I thought I wanted a rainout tomorrow, so that the Giants would have to play here on Monday and then go home Monday night and play Houston on Tuesday.

Then I realized that Bumgarner would be ready to pitch on Monday, and I want no part of him....

Great series so far. With Jake throwing tomorrow, could be a sweep. Russell is turning it on, and Schwarber is still hot. Motte needs to go, asap. He hasn't been good in over a month.
