Keep telling yourself that. Someone is gonna get fucked over on his next deal. Pity the team that ponies up for that.

Remember that seven game winning streak? Wasn't that great?

Kenny Williams disagrees with the above.

I'm not sure the White Sox had much to trade outside of Samardzija, but it's not a good sign if Sox management made decisions based on that winning streak vs. the entire season and the upcoming schedule (that has clearly shown who they are).

You're obviously not aware of the plan.

Does anyone have a timeline of when that 3 year plan came to light? From my what I'm aware of, they went for this off-season, and the team isn't any good. Williams then mentions a 3 year plan. If that's accurate, and this was kept internal, what should we expect in Year 2 of this plan? It can't be too re-sign Samardzija and then hope for the best.

You need to stay out of White Sock business. Kenny doesn't have to explain anything to the likes of you.

Ha, I wouldn't need them too if they could produce a winning club.

Winning is overrated. Don't you know it's all about losing the right way?

It really doesn't bother me that the Sox decided to hold on to Shark, regardless of the reason why. Its bothers me that this team has had repeated stretches over the last 3 seasons of playing like dog crap, yet the only changes made are to the roster.

Have a night Avi. It would have been nice if he did this against the Yankees or Tampa or KC.....

You're right. These games where he stays on the ball and drives it are few and far between. He has way too many AB's where he's swinging thru the fastball and flailing at sliders and changeups out of the zone. He needs to be consistent with his approach and I'm not sure if he'll ever be able to do that.

Well Avi does have a higher average and 30 less SO's than Bryant so even allowing for lack of homers he is far superior right?

We won a game yesterday. We win one today, that's two in a row. We win one tomorrow, that's called a winning streak. It has happened before.

I think Avi will be ok. He just turned 24, and this is his first FULL season in the majors. ~.270 avg, 20-25HRs, 70-90 RBI will be his career norms before its all said and done. That is fine for a corner OF.

But only Cubs can be expected to improve.

Good analysis "Dave"

At least he's not a butcher in the field like Soler.

Don't you know that winning is losing and that there is no dignity in winning 85 games (which Theo could do in his sleep)

Rodon's stuff is so damn good but he's still trying to be too cute. When he figures out he doesn't have to go out of the strike zone to get outs he's going to be damn near unhittable.

Absolutely dominating outing by Rodon and he was pitching from behind to most of the hitters. They were taking some oogly hacks off him. When he learns to throw first pitch strike and pitch ahead in the count that will make his slider even more devastating then watch the fuck out.

Nice job by Ramirez to hold onto a double-play starting throw by Abreu...smh

They should have traded Ramirez in the offseason because he has just declined both on offense and defense.
