If the fact that the Sox blow this season isn't torture enough and a weekend of getting swept by Kansas City was there to behold, you find Scott Podsednik making his debut as analyst/color man. For those of you who were fortunate enough to have been doing anything else than watching these three games, consider yourselves blessed. I never knew that a man could be this dull. Shame on the decision makers who thought this was a good idea to use him to replace Steve Stone for the weekend. He has no business ever being used again.

He just seemed lost. It's one of those occupations that is probably a lot tougher than it looks. You're trying to fill up a lot of air time.

Pods would need to spend time in a studio setting where he only has to fill limited air time. A three hour game next to Hawk is a pretty tough job. He doesn't sound particularly chatty either.

I noticed Len and Jim don't seem to fond of one another either. Len is quite pissy. Lots of bad chemistry except for Pat Hughes.

I don't really hear that between JD and Len but I will say that JD is proving to be imminently more likable and entertaining the more I hear him as opposed to Lenny.

Pat and fully appendaged ron act like someone took their cookie whenever the opposing team makes a good play. Once that happened a few more times they decided to induct Brandon Crawford into the hall of fame for taking away numerous hits from the Cubs.

I agree they dont click very well, even now with JD is trying harder. Yet, dont think it is a very real dislike of the person as it is with Hawk and Stone.

Len was intregal in the search for the BB replacement and the story on JD was he was very close to the way BB did a game or just had some pop culture knowledge...and in reality has shown very very little.

I'm pro JD. Some of his jokes fall flat but he has warmed up in the booth and it sounds more natural now.

I heard that Crawford comment. Terrible. I thought there are at least five guys on his own team better than him....let alone the entire MLB.

At this point,I'm enjoying JD a lot more then Len who I don't dislike but JD has an offbeat sense of humor and has been much improved from last season.

That was horrid.

It sounded like he was doing color analysis from a golf course.

That was pretty bad; obviously, whoever makes those decisions thinks it's more important to have a player who White Sox fans know than a guy who can actually talk about the game.

Score employee walking down the halls of US Cellular with a hoodie and a Cubs T shirt underneath.

Said person is aware he is wearing a Cubs T shirt, thus zips up hoodie, so you can only see the Blue t shirt and top of the C.

White Sox Front office person stops him, asks if he wearing a CUBS shirt....Score guy says YES.

First thing Monday morning, Sox front office guy calling WSCR and complaining.
