So the Brewers kicked Melvin upstairs. Weird timing but it probably needed to be done. Dipoto would be a nice fit. If they can't get him they should just promote Ray Montgomery.

Brewers really want mcleod! but Cubs did give mcleod a big payday to stay here with a 3 year deal. Saying jason is now a $1 Mill guy. That contract ends after next season.

They would let mcleod write his own deal. Which, is tempting, but if the Cubs go the playoffs in 2016 and improve on this season, he could almost write his own deal anywhere. except the Sox!
