Glad to hear the surgery went well, Mac. My dad crushed a disc in his back and subsequently had about 10+ surgeries, the majority of which were in the late 70s and early 80s...I hope surgical procedures have advanced a bit since then. I was fairly young when it happened, but I know it was not very pleasant for him. About 6 years ago he had the discs in the C4 & C5 vertebrea removed and replaced with titanium (I think that's what the procedure entailed...not positive).



I've learned my lesson and have stopped listening when you're not there. It would take a lot of positive feedback from the board to make me take that risk again. I tried tuning in to B&B on a few occasions, but there's really nothing entertaining to me about listening to those two either act like a-holes and/or giggle at their own nonsense.

My radio has primarily been on FM from 2-6 during the last week or so.

It's more of a catering place but they do have a restaurant on Central on the northwest side. You can find the corned beef at most Jewel or Dominick's.

I had the same surgery as Mac. Although recovery is a bitch it was well worth it. I now can wake up pain free and live a pain free life

My words of advice to Mac:

1. Be dilligent about wearing your brace (corset)
2. Work hard in PT, but don't feel like you need to do too much too quick
3. Sleep on your side with a pillow betwen your legs
4. Learn how to bend correctly so there will be less stress on your back.

I found that the advice above helped my recovery process.

I don't listen much anymore, but did catch a little lately. Carm seems to fit in pretty well with Jurko. He would be a big improvement to show if it became MJC. He knows his sports, doesn't try to dominate the conversation, not a failed comedian and seems like a decent guy. Give it a try.

I'm glad to hear that Mac is feeling better, but I agree with Tom.
And I don't fault Mac either, he wasn't begging for posters to stroke his ego.
