Rizzo chasing a pop fly toward the crowd jumps onto the tarp... then onto the wall... then makes the catch falling into the crowd and still gets the ball into second to prevent the runner advancingt but he did get 2nd on the played leaving the field with the ball.

Somebody please get to Rizzo and forbid him from attempting to catch pop ups near the stands. I can't be the only one who's heart dropped and expected the worse when he stood up on the tarp.

Rizzo is way to valuable to take the risk on an out.

Good thing about Cubs games is 35k plus in stands.. Can fall on somebody ...if that the Cell ? Abreu is falling into an empty section . higher risk of injury.

He's got some Marmol in him. Really likes that slider. Threw a tailing 94 mph fastball to the guy before. Don't be afraid to mix that in.

Strop and Rondon, have a great slider that drops out the bottom, but if it drops too far or doesnt drop, its just an OK fastball.

I get the sense from hearing Maddon that he really likes Hunter and is oing to try and move him in.

Be ready for a Carl Edwards to come up and see some time? in late games, reports say great movement. Can get 98 MPH, but cutter moves. usually dont see teams grooming closers, so will be interesting to see if he comes up.

I haven't been that impressed by Montero's defense this year. The wild pitch that put the runners on 2nd and third in the ninth should have been handled better.
