Big test for the Cubs. Do they respond with another 8 game winning streak, like they did when they lost 3 to Philly or do they finally have enough of Maddon's "I loved the effort" speeches and play like the White Sox. Those speeches work if you don't prolong the losing streaks. They sound stupid if you continue to lose.

Braves are 2-16 in last 18 road games. Coming to Wrigley just in time for a market correction.

Homecoming for Folty tonight. Nice. I saw a game of his in HS where he was throwing consistent 97's and he hit 2 home runs. He was a man among boys.

From here on out every inning Jake pitches is a new career high...let see how the big boy handles it?

First time I ever saw those Braves black uniform tops. Kind of sharp looking.

Setting the Cubs /Sox aside, AJ Pierzynski just reeks of asshattery no matter what uniform he wears.

So if Arrietts wins tonight, he the first to 15 in the majors? Have a year Jake. I look forward to your 150 million plus deal.

why would the Braves bat the pitcher there in a 5-0 game?

He'll ask for double what Lester is making.

They don't have the best manager in the game on their side I guess.

This ump blows, he's either got dough on the Cubs or needs to wat more carrots.

Folty looks like he's destined for the bullpen. It just doesn't look like he'll ever be able to command his secondaries well enough to make it as a starter.
