WTF!?! The Score is dead when Terry retires

Terry does suck at his job now (I never said anything about retirement), and yes, The Score as we know it will be dead when he does. He is the last of the old guard.

Well technically Hanley was a half time (or so) host with Mac at first until Terry was the full time Heavy Fuel guy.

Hanley doesn't count. I don't listen to his show. :)

Agree. Hanley and Mulley are awful. The Score has failed like the Bears and Sox to develop any young talent.

The more I think about it, the show has become unlistenable because of Terry. Dan has always been his asshole self, but Terry simply doesn't bring anything to the show anymore. His parroting of Dan gets old real fast, he doesn't watch sports so he has no basis for the few comments he does make, and is rarely funny anymore.

Terrys comedy was all built around TB Diddlers, gays, and sexual innuendo, none of which flies anymore.

He did drop one today though. Dan said something about someone blowing bubbles. Terry said "and bubbles is very happy". Too bad Danny won't allow any TB Diddlers bits anymore. Mac would :(

At least they give decent analysis. Terry and Dan were absolutely perplexed at why several of these NFL teams that have joined practices have been getting into fights. ("I can't imagine why this is happening...aren't they there to work on stuff like blocking and tackling?") M&H (maybe Zaidman too, can't remember) had a perfectly good theory this morning, which is that teams are practicing at different speeds and intensity levels, and when you combine that with 85+ degree heat, you can get some tempers flaring.

Not rocket science, but apparently outside of B&B's grasp.

Yeah... Dan seemed befuddled by the notion that an angry/chop blocked lineman wouldn't consider the logistics involved in setting up a practice between two NFL teams.

All Lil Danny knows is that had he been undercut when he tore his knee up playing pick up basketball , Daddy would've litigated the dude that did it into oblivion . Really.Smart.Revenge.

I haven't heard it, but knowing dan's respect for billionaires and big black studs, am I correct in assuming that he finds the behavior of Dominick's to be egregious and having caused irreparable harm to the valuable Michael Jordan™ brand while being totally oblivious to the fact that showing up at the Dirksen Building to slug this out undoubtedly damages his brand far more than any congratulatory ad tied to a steak coupon in a magazine that only sold 49,000 copies ever could?

Worse than that. He was basically arguing that Greg Norman's brand was superior to Jordan's, because Norman owns his vineyard and helped design his clothing line, while Jordan just slapped his name on something created by the designers and marketers at Nike.

Not sure that affects the #brand. In the past, Dan has certainly argued that Jordan was more of a pitchman than a 'businessman', when hearing praise about the latter.

That was the tone of it: that Jordan was just a famous guy with a shoe deal. The Really Smart Guys at Nike are the real heroes.

I didn't even know Greg Norman had a brand.

Yea, I often read about the riots, violence and exorbitant secondary market that erupts when the NORMAN'S go on sale

I am certain Elmhurst Steve could explain why this occurs.
