hitting into the DP was disappointing. But it's things like that, which will help him learn and grow and hopefully avoid repeating todays failure to plate a run in such a situation. He will learn more from failure than success and he still has plenty of success. Nice to have so many good young hitters, so there isn't a load on any one guy.

Honestly, if you could choose now between Schwarber and Rodon, which do you take? I think both will have very good careers barring injury. Rodon has potential to be a great pitcher.

Schwarber has potential to be an everyday team leader that sets a competitive tone for the team through attitude and performance.

Given what we know today, I take Schwarber a bunch of days and twice on Sunday.
