Settle down JORR.

You've got all of September to worry about. Pace yourself.

I wonder if it's really his fiance or are the Cubs putting a bow on that too so it looks acceptable to the suburbanites who frequent Coopers Hawk.

Serious question for JORR, dolphin, SomeGuy, etc....

What was your plan if the Sox had moved to St. Petersburg way back when?

I wouldn't trust him around the pregnancy since he's one of the reasons that the Cubs showed up prematurely. Don't want the baby to be born one year early!

Ahhh, I forgot about you. Probably the biggest anti Cub voice that no one mentions.

The question was a legit one concerning a situation that was very, very close to happening. As a fan of the Sox, you were going to have a decision to make.

Here's another one. Why do you hate the Cub and their fans so much?

Since it's legit, I'll answer. I'd likely have been a Dodgers fan (& would have gone to Weegheman Park to root for the Cardinals as well).

As to why I hate the Cubs & (many of) their fans, I've been pretty clear about that over the years. I don't hate them as much as I used to, although I despise the Ricketts family (unlike the Trib or Wrigleys who I never thought twice about). I've always thought it was an organization of losers/thieves, almost completely uninterested in my becoming a fan. As they have also been strangely supported (in part) by an odd breed of masochistic people, quite frankly I've never felt safe there, certainly not when I was a kid.

Of course, as I've never been a Wayne Stylie bro' type nor a sorority girl, the allure of the ballpark and neighborhood never existed for me. 1060 W Addison is/was just a crappy old pile of bricks with bad food, bad beer and poor facilities way the hell out of the way for me.

Just remember, way back in 1984, after Pete Rose lined a ball off of Lee Smith's ass that was then caught by Larry Bowa to secure a Cub victory, Harry Caray told us, "The Good Lord wants the Cubs to win!"

I'm not even religious, but it's hard to argue with that type of logic.

And to smooth things over between the two fan-bases, how about we extend Fowler the qualifying offer, he declines and then the Sox sign him to that 20 million dollar a year deal that Jessie Rogers wants to give him and the Cub take your 1st round pick?

Seems like a fair and decent thing to do, don't you think?

You've never played on a World Series winner so I guess we can discount your opinion too.

Put the quotes around "woman" instead of "helping" and you have a much more interesting question.

What if it came out that Russel was gay and adopting and Epstein made him take it off because its so important and he keeps things in perspective?

Ill tell you what, we'd have our answer to "What could Theo do to make Bernstein love him even more"
